These century plants are located at Indianola near the
corner of Brighton and Comal. The flower
spikes are approximately 15'-16' tall.

The century
plant, a member of the Agavi family, is
found across the U.S. southwest and Mexico. They do take a long time to bloom, but not a century. In
Mexico the plant is used to produce tequila, pulque and mescal.
